FAQ

What differences are between virtual server and physical server?

In essence, virtual server works just like the physical server. The difference is that virtual servers can be created within minutes and, if necessary, allocated resources can be increased or decreased with a few mouse clicks. Also you spend less money because you don't have to pay fee for the physical server deployment and maintenance in data center.

How many virtual servers can I create if I have chosen plan Nx3?

Nx3 plan means that you have reserved three nodes. To create a virtual server, at least one node is required. So with this plan you can set up 3 virtual servers or 1 virtual server with all reserved resources. You can make different combinations, for example, you could create one virtual server with 2 nodes for database server and second server with 1 node for webserver.

What is a node?

Each virtual server is created from one or more units, which we call nodes. One node consists of a 768 MB RAM and 15 GB HDD. The more nodes are allocated to virtual server, more physical resources are allocated to a particular virtual server.

What operating system do you offer?

We offer 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Linux distributions mentioned below:

  • Debian 7 (wheezy)
  • Debian 6 (squeeze)
  • CentOS 7

  • Gentoo 10.0

How many IP addresses will I get?

Each virtual server gets a single IP address. It is also possible to obtain more upon request for additional fee.
